Casa Carrasco

Sayavedra, State of Mexico. Mexico Casa Carrasco I 2003 Construction. 810 m ²

The Carrasco house is located in a growing new community to the north-west of Mexico City, in a mountainous and wooded area, located on a hill with views towards an extensive and dense forest, the natural landscape was the starting point for solving the house in a single longitudinal axis and placing it to the center of the land to take advantage of the surrounding views, we seek to propose an architectural vocabulary that was "normal and natural" is to produce different changing images of the interior spaces with the integration of the outer landscape through the perception of the fluid and flexible, changing and mutant space where different moments, times, circumstances, personalities, and circumstances, and circumstances.

The house is arranged on two levels and a basement for the extensive program of 6 rooms, 2 T.V. rooms, game room, an office, pian- bar, spacious estancia- dining room, kitchen and breakfast, 2 destitute wineries, laundry and service rooms. On the outside the house is surrounded by an extensive garden in which you will find the recreational area, with a tennis court and a palapa stay with bar and roaster.

Residents enjoy magnificent views of the forest from any point of the house through window grades that frame different images of nature and allow the user to move away from the daily stress that causes a densely congested city like Mexico City, and express the family's desire to stay close to nature.

The transition from the interior to the outside is gradual and a double-height glass cover covers the stay and dining area allows you to enjoy the outside in summer and autumn.
